Tigers Split with Ouachita Baptist

Game 1
Tuscaloosa, AL| The Stillman Tiger baseball team took on Gulf South opponent Ouachita Baptist Wednesday afternoon in a double header.
Stillman took the first game 9-5 and dropped the second game 15-1.
In the first game, Stillman scored 9 runs off 13 hits and committed 2 errors.
Ouachita scored 5 runs off 9 hits.
Sloan Simmons (1-3) picked up the win for Stillman. OF Dion Bryant led the Tigers in the game with three hits.
Jack Hazelrig, Sean Blair, and Grayson Crawford each had two hits. Hazelrig and Crawford each had three RBI.
Game 2
Tuscaloosa, AL| In the second , the Tigers where no match for Ouachita Baptist as the visitors exploded for the 15-1 victory.
Ouachita touched the plate 15 times and pounded out 18 hits in the game.
Stillman could only muster 1 run off 6 hits and committed two fielding errors.
Sam McGill recorded the win for Ouachita Baptist while Ryan Mcvay (4-5) picked up the loss for Stillman.
2B Rey Valdes led the Tigers with two hits. Ouachitas’ Luke Hardcastle led the way for his team collecting 4 hits in the contest.
Stillman (14-18) will take on Clark Atlanta this weekend at Tiger Stadium.
First pitch is set for 1p.m Saturday.
