Media Relations Information

Football Season

CREDENTIALS: All requests for press, photo and broadcasting credentials for Stillman home games should be made in advance by contacting the Stillman Sports Information Office at 205-247-8101. Passes will be mailed in advance if time permits, otherwise they will be left at “Will Call” on the day of the game. Press parking credentials are also available upon request on a limited basis.

Credentials are issued for authorized press and workers only and do not include family members or other non-working personnel. Any violation will result in forfeiture of the issued credentials and restrictions on any future credentials.

  PRESS BOX: The Stillman Stadium press box is a modern facility providing comfortable viewing space for all areas of the media. The press box is to be occupied by certified working press, coaches, scouts, photographers, statisticians, support personnel, SIAC and Stillman personnel in an official capacity.

Working press is defined as official representatives of daily or weekly newspapers published on a regular basis, official representatives of licensed television and radio stations which broadcast to the general public on a regular schedule and official representatives of magazines or periodicals who are covering the game for inclusion in a published article. Members of the working press are those persons described above who are on assignment to cover the game in whole or in part.

Press credentials must be shown before anyone will gain admittance to the press box or press box elevator.

PRESS BOX LEVELS: First Floor--- Concession Stand                Second Floor--- President’s Suite                Third Floor--- Main Press Level, Coaches Boxes, Radio Level

PHONES & FAXES: Two phones are available on the first level for home and visiting radio broadcasts. Additional phone lines are available for Internet access. The Press box also has a fax machine available.

GAME SERVICES: Media representatives covering Stillman home games will receive game programs, media guides, pre-game notes and complete halftime and final statistics. A complete play-by-play of each game can also be provided. Refreshments will also be made available.

INTERVIEWS: All requests for interviews with Stillman student-athletes should be made through the Sports Information Office by calling 205-247-8101. Stillman athletes are also routinely available for interviews immediately following practice sessions and the Tiger locker room will be open at all games, following a mandatory 10-minute cooling-off period.

 

Men & Women's Basketball Season

Passes will be  will be left at the ticket booth on the day of the game. Press parking credentials are also available upon request on a limited basis.  

INTERVIEWS: All requests for interviews with Stillman student-athletes should be made through the Sports Information Office by calling 205-247-8101. Stillman athletes are also routinely available for interviews immediately following practice sessions and home games.
