Stillman volleyball team sweeps Miles

TUSCALOOSA | The Stillman College volleyball recorded a sweep on Monday, defeating Miles in a Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference match.
Stillman won by scores of 25-11, 25-10 and 25-15. The Lady Tigers improved to 4-5 overall, 3-1 in conference play.
Stillman junior Jamila McKinnis posted her fourth double-double of the season with 10 kills and 11 assists. Junior setter Rayniceia Lewis had 15 assists. Sophomore middle hitter LaShaunda Spurgeon had eight kills and five aces. Spurgeon also had two stuff blocks. Junior middle hitter Phyllice Eubanks added six kills to the Tiger offensive attack and had one solo block. Senior libero Kiaundra Spann had nine digs to lead the defense.
Stillman travels to Albany, Ga., to participate in the SIAC Cross Over Tournament, which runs Thursday through Saturday.
