- 8-30-2011
Stillman will hold Public Servant and Business Appreciation Day on Saturday, September 3 during the Stillman vs. Shaw University game at 5:00 p.m. in Stillman Stadium. “The event is designed to celebrate the men and women who provide invaluable service to our communities and our country,” said Mary Jackson, coordinator of the event.
“We want to show our appreciation for businesses that support our communities as well,” said Gregory Eubanks, Associate Vice President for Development. "Stillman has a rich history of community involvement, instilling in our students the importance of practicing public service, and the importance of honoring those who serve."
All public servants will receive free tickets to the game. Members of the fire and police departments, those in the military, and EMS responders that would like to attend are asked to R.S.V.P. to Jackson at 205-247-8152 or mjackson@stillman.edu.
