Stillman & UNCF Host Super Viewing Party January 29

The annual UNCF Super Viewing Party will be held Saturday, January 29, 2011, from 8 p.m. until midnight at the McDonald Hughes Center, located at 3101 Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. W., in Tuscaloosa. This year’s theme is “An Evening of Stars Tribute to Chaka Khan.”
Reverend Gregory Eubanks, Assistant Vice President for Development at Stillman said, “The United Negro College Fund (UNCF) is the nation’s largest, oldest, and most successful minority higher education assistance organization. UNCF provides operating funds and technology enhancement services for Stillman and 38 other member historically black colleges and universities.”
The event is hosted by Stillman College and the UNCF. Donations and ticket sales will be used to help provide the UNCF and Stillman more opportunities to assist students in achieving their dreams of earning a college education and have an enjoyable evening at the same time.
A minimum donation of $25 is required for admittance to the event. Tables of 8 for organizations are available at a cost of $1,000. The event is semi-formal.
