Health and Physical Education

The Department of Health and Physical Education will provide students with learning experiences through selected physical activities that will enhance their physical, mental, social and emotional growth. As an integral part of the College’s total educational program, physical education contributes to the well-rounded development of all students as responsible citizens in our democratic society. The Department of Health and Physical Education also provides certification through the Stillman Teacher Education Program for students desiring to enter the field of teacher education, as well as a non-teacher track for physical education majors.
