Stillman is a special place that offers students a wonderful opportunity to pursue a quality education in an attractive, safe and supportive environment.
Opportunities to get involved in the life of the College abound everywhere. It is our expectation that students will work hard and play hard and experience the same intellectual and personal growth and sense of pride that the thousands of Stillman men and women have manifested over the past 137 years.
Student Affairs is the component of the College responsible for co-curricular and extra-curricular areas of student life including residence living, counseling services, career services, health services, Christian religious life, discipline, Campus Police, and student activities and organizations. Under my direction as Vice President for Student Affairs, the primary functions of the area is to provide a comprehensive program of student support services directed toward meeting students’ developmental needs. Student Affairs, through its programs and processes, seeks to create a supportive co-curricular environment at Stillman that is conducive to the development of emotional autonomy, coping skills and feelings of self worth and independence, tolerance and mature relationships with peers, appropriate educational plans, mature career plans and a responsible lifestyle.
